Awarding Medals

CBMSkills uses medals to award students for their achievements in each of our modules. Gold medals are awarded for 90%+, Silver medals for 80-89%, and Bronze medals for 70-79%. We do this so the students have something to work towards, as well as being able to visually assess their own scores.

NOTE: If a student is one correct question away from a higher scoring medal, they will be given an 11th question to try and make it to the next medal.

Gold = 9-10/10 or if within an item of Gold (8), a bonus item is presented and if correct: 9/11.

Sliver = 8/10 or if within an item of Silver (7), a bonus item is presented and if correct: 8/11.

Bronze = 7/10 or if within an item of Bronze (6), a bonus item is presented and if correct: 7/11.

Completion Ribbon = Attempted the module but performance was 6/10, 6/11, or less.

Dash = Test started but not all items completed(< 6 of the items).

Here are the medals as displayed in a Report:

Here is what your students see in their modules when they earn medals.

  • Each medal is displayed on the top right-hand corner of the module.
  • Here students can visually track their progress and see which areas they can improve on.
