Completing a Math Module
Once logged in, students will see the modules assigned to them by their teacher.
Students select a module by clicking on it and the first item will open.
Note: The student screen shows a problem centered in the screen and a box for them to enter their answer. At the top of the screen are two important icons: a speaker on the upper left corner for students to have the problem read aloud and an X in the upper right corner for students to click if they want to exit the module.
Students enter their answer in the box. Each answer results in the bubbles at the bottom being filled in with gray indicating the response is incorrect and blue indicating the response is correct. They then click on the green √ mark in the lower right corner to move to the next item.
- A pop-up message with Kopi also appears indicating whether the answer was correct or not.
- At the end of the 10 questions in the module, if students are below 60%, they receive a ‘started medal’.
Otherwise, if they are within 1 item of…
- 70% correct, students are provided 1 more item to receive a Bronze medal.
- 80% correct, students are provided 1 more item to receive a Silver medal. See below.
- 90% correct, students are provided 1 more item to receive a Gold medal.
- In the example below, the student went for the Gold and received the following message.
- After this last screen, students need to click the green √ to go back to the main screen with all modules assigned by the teacher. This screen will display the modules with medals (if any have been attained).
